Origins

Baekje included elements of Confucian thought into its state beliefs and made the male-centric filiopiety concept an official doctrine in 1390 CE. In the name of filiopiety, fathers were accountable to their families, and had to be respected and obeyed by everyone, even their children and grandchildren.

Goryeo, a nation that was ruled from 918 to 1392 CE in the year 1392 CE, introduced to the world the Hangul Alphabet, based on the shapes created by the mouth when pronouncing. Development in Korea

The Korean peninsula has been continuously inhabited since Neolithic times. In all of them, Baekje was the most powerful of them all, but its dynasty ended with the fall of Goguryeo in 676 CE and left it with its southern territories of Manchuria and the western region surrounding the Hwanghae Bay, while eastern Buyeo and the Gaya confederacy flourished for a short time.

The Unified Silla Kingdom then emerged and the three kingdoms started to collaborate to expand their territories. In the final, Silla, with significant Chinese assistance, defeated all other states and united the peninsula in 935 CE.

As Korea enters a post-crisis phase the way it develops appears to be changing. People who are shocked by the huge cost of the old system advocate a thorough program of liberalization in capital as well as labor markets. KACR began publishing a newsletter titled CREATION. In CREATION, the organization published its own activities and published articles on the scientific evidence for the existence of God. It also translated slides and film strips from ICR and also some books on creationism that were published outside of Korea. KACR members delivered lectures in churches and universities throughout the country.

A KACR success was seen at KAIST University in Seoul. Students at the KAIST university in Seoul were so keen on the concept of creationism that they raised funds and received funding to construct a small creationist museum on campus.

In addition to its public activities, KACR publishes a bimonthly news magazine called CREATION which covers topics in the field of creation science. It also hosted a series of lectures by ICR staff. It has also established a network of local branches, which hold seminars and give talks to school children and community groups.

The evolution of South Korea

In the latter half of the 19th century and the beginning of 20th, Korea moved toward a Westernised lifestyle. The traditional Korean dress, the hanbok, was replaced by miniskirts and other foreign fashion elements. The traditional Korean music was also replaced by rock and roll and jazz. In the period of this transition the samulnori, or dance-dramas with masks were extremely popular. Korea's new development paradigm is being created in the aftermath of the economic crisis. The primary challenge for the new regime is to find an equilibrium between market-oriented and state-led economic policies. Established by Onjo, prince of Goguryeo and the third son of Jumong, Baekje was established in the middle of the Hangang River, those from Buyeo and other regions, as well as people from northern China. In the 4th century, in the early part of, Baekje was a major regional power, and expanded its territory as far as Mahan in the north and Jeollanam-do in the south. In the process, it entered into frequent battle with Goguryeo and the Chinese commanders across the border.

The fall of Silla in the 8th and early 9th centuries saw powerful local factions to emerge. Gungye was a noble from Later Baekje, established a kingdom with Songak as its capital. It also exerted control over part of present-day Jeolla and Chungcheong provinces. Then, he moved the capital to Wansanju. He became an adversary to Goguryeo.

The rule of his was, however, short-lived. Wang Geon, a powerful local leader who defeated Gungye in 935 and united Goryeo, Baekje, and Silla, later incorporated Baekje into Goryeo peacefully as a successor. Wang Geon also introduced fundamental reforms and strengthened the central government system. This was the end of the Three Kingdoms Period. The Korean peninsula was then controlled by the Goryeo Dynasty. In the Three Kingdoms period, Goguryeo, Baekje and Silla gradually developed into powerful states in Manchuria and on the peninsula.
